Microwave Fudge
OK, were getting down to crunch time as far as making homemade gifts for Christmas. If you want a really quick, really yummy recipe, this microwave fudge fits the bill.
I got the recipe when we had a cookie swap at work back in 2005 when there were almost 200 people working at my company. As it quite often goes in corporate America, we were acquired by another company the next year. Now there are only 20 of us! This is my roundabout way of saying that I cant remember who made the fudge.
I was delighted to find that there was no candy thermometer involved in making this fudge because I go out of my way to avoid candy thermometers. As experienced a cook and baker I am, any recipe involving a candy thermometer gives me the heebie-jeebies.
This recipe couldnt be easier or quicker, not counting chilling time which really doesnt take that long either. If youre all set for homemade gifts this year, save it for Valentines Day for your favorite chocoholic! 🙂
